Humane Alliance: A Program of the ASPCA

Consultation Program

We understand that trying to identify and fix inefficiencies in your own operations can sometimes be challenging, and having validation of the issues from an outside source, as well as feedback on how to improve, can be extremely helpful. That’s why we established our one-and-a-half day Consultation Program for nonprofit spay/neuter clinics.

If you're operating a spay/neuter clinic, and having issues in a particular medical-related area (such as intake/release, flow and efficiency, meeting your surgical goals, or medical protocols), and could use a fresh perspective, our team can help.

The first day is strictly observation, so we can see your clinic operations in full. The second half-day will be spent first with you as the manager of the clinic to discuss our observations, and then with your full staff to discuss strategies and ideas. We'll also provide thoughtful feedback and recommendations in a written report and be available for a call afterwards.

Please note that only the medical side of your clinic will be evaluated, and the consultation does not include any training aspect. However, if additional hands-on training is recommended, you may send your team through either our NSNRT (which includes medical and administrative training) or Team Training (just medical training) programs. Our free E-Learning materials can also provide you with additional training in both medical and administrative matters.
