Description: The Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) is seeking a Director of Clinic Services for its high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter clinics. This position is mission-driven and works closely with the Vice President of Community Programs and the Spay/Neuter Clinics’ Medical Director to offer affordable spay/neuter and wellness options at the highest level of care to the companion animals of Charlotte and surrounding communities. This position is a supervisory position, and the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, direction, and discipline when necessary. .Duties include managing all aspects of the clinics’ operation such as recruiting and maintaining a superior and well-trained surgical staff; creating a safe and positive work environment at all times; creating and implementing best practices for surgical flow, reporting, scheduling of appointments, transport program, and wellness program; managing of clinics’ budget, billing, accounts receivable, and inventory; researching and implementing progressive fundraising and programming strategies in order for clinics to best meet the community’s needs; managing all data collection and patient records within spay/neuter database and supporting software; and collaborating in the planning, advertising, and execution of community events. Ideal candidate must be a strong leader, outgoing, diplomatic, and adaptable. Ideal candidate must also be detail-oriented, have excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills and be prepared to embrace a non-judgmental approach to community outreach. Must enjoy working with diverse populations and other organizations including government agencies. At least two years’ experience in non-profit and/or veterinary practice management preferred. Conversational Spanish is a plus.
